Rebuilding lives together
– Konecta has been recognized, through its Foundation, for its commitment to social inclusion and sustainable employability, driven by its Hub Empleo Verde project.
– In collaboration with Fundación Endesa and JPMorganChase, this program has raised awareness among more than 2,800 people, provided 785 tailored training pathways, and facilitated 178 job placements in sustainable, future-oriented sectors.
Madrid, November 12, 2025. Konecta, a global leader in Customer Experience (CX) and digital services, has been recognized by Fundación SERES, alongside MasOrange and Rodilla, and through the Konecta Foundation, with one of the 2025 SERES Awards. The award acknowledges the company’s Hub Empleo Verde initiative, developed in partnership with JPMorganChase and Fundación Endesa, which promotes employability among young people and vulnerable groups in sectors linked to the green transition and sustainability. The three organizations share a firm commitment to a fair and inclusive energy transition.
Since its creation in 2021, Hub Empleo Verde has reached more than 2,800 people, provided 785 customized training pathways, and supported 178 individuals in securing jobs with a future. In addition, eight entrepreneurship workshops have been held, training more than 100 participants in sustainable self-employment.
This has been made possible through a solid collaboration network involving 110 social organizations, 325 companies, 78 universities and training centers, and 92 public administrations actively engaged in the initiative.
Another innovative pillar of the program is the Research and Sustainable Challenges Labs, where participants identify environmental challenges, co-create solutions, and foster shared learning. So far, five sustainable challenges have been completed, addressing topics such as circular economy, urban gardening, tech recycling, and food waste reduction.
The award was accepted by Julio Meseguer, Managing Director and Co-Head of Corporate Banking at J.P. Morgan Spain; María Malaxechevarría, General Director of Fundación Endesa; and José María Pacheco, Chairman of Konecta, who emphasized:
“We firmly believe that enabling young people and vulnerable people to access sustainable jobs is a genuine driver of social transformation. Hub Empleo Verde shows that collaboration between business, the social sector, and public institutions can generate real opportunities for the future. We are deeply grateful to Fundación SERES for this recognition, which strengthens our conviction and our commitment to a business model that combines profitability and social impact.”
The 2025 SERES Award reaffirms Hub Empleo Verde as a replicable model of social impact, connecting the needs of the growing green job market with the talent of those who need it most.
As a benchmark in social innovation across employability, sustainability, and inclusion, the project reinforces Konecta’s commitment to expanding its impact and supporting initiatives that build a fairer, more inclusive society ready to face the challenges of the 21st century.
Thanks to the strong support of Konecta’s executive team and its Foundation, the Hub has become a strategic pillar within the company, engaging multiple internal departments and recently expanding its geographic reach to Andalusia.
